Band Biography:
Since our inception in 2005, “In Custody” has become one of Kalamazoo’s most sought after party bands. Their unique blend of songs spanning over four decades is comprised of popular hits that everybody knows and loves, yet are not all the “same old songs” most other cover bands have in their set lists. With almost 80 songs in their active play list, “In Custody” is able to entertain patrons on back to back nights by giving them two very different shows.

Their stage presence and personal interaction entertains crowds of all sizes, and makes fans feel like a part of the show. Whether performing on Festival stages in front of thousands of people, or in small weekend clubs, “In Custody” always delivers a very entertaining, and extremely professional show. The utilization of a full-time sound and lighting professional as part of the “In Custody” family further enhances the visual and audio experience their fans enjoy night after night.

Live Production Capabilities:

Sound and Lighting:
“In Custody” has multiple PA systems available for use, depending on the level of sound required for your event. Our EV Eliminator system has a 32 channel board, with approximately 2,000 watts across 3 amps, including stage monitors. This system is typically more then sufficient for indoor facilities. Another system readily available runs 2,400 watts on it’s own, with an additional 26 mixer channels available. Combined, “In Custody” has approximately 4,500 watts pushing up to 4 18” subwoofers, 6 15” mid range speakers, and 6 12” horns. All vocalists us Shure Beta58 microphones. All guitars and vocals are capable of going wireless at any show.

Available professional lighting consists of 64 “Par 64” cans, 600 watts each. A “Comet Follow Spot”, 14 “Pin Spots” typically used to emphasis the drums, 3 750 watt “Strobes”, two “Fog Machines”, and a 64 channel board that controls each light independently.

Costuming:
“In Custody” is prepared to dress to match the theme of your event. To date, “In Custody” has performed shows wearing the following costuming:

- 80’s mock outfits for the “In Custody…..in the 80’s” show
- Zoot Suits (Formal New Years Eve show)
- “Kiss” tribute (Full costume and professional make-up for Halloween show)
- Hawaiian Shirts w/shorts or khaki pants (Luau themed events)
